ChPl. ALVARO Andzi Chatka - “ALUS, ALEK”
in 1985 and it really was by chance. The fact is that as he was growing up we were more and more convinced that it was the right choice.
The blood of "the old polish whippets" flows through Alek's pedigree. The two biggest kennels that existed in our country at the beginning of the '80s: "Pedziwiatr" by Mr. Marek Orela form Nysa and "Megy" by Dr. Krzysztof Czogala from Katowice gave Alek genes foundation.
BIG PEDIGREE Alek's parents were:
father ELVIS Megy (white) and mother BASTA Pędziwiatr(sand).
Both in the father's pedigree as well as in the mother's one we find many famous whippets from German and English lines:

Ch. Bredand PERCY VERE (GB),
, Wirrawon CENTENARY (GB) or dogs from v.d. Kollau's kennel.
ALEK was born on the 20th of Sep.1985 in the kennel of Ms Anna and Mr Pawel Lampe.
Alek arrived at our home on the 1st of November 1985.
We tried our luck with showing him at a dogs shows in Wroclaw in 1987. With a great pleasure we learned that he is a beautiful and valuable representative of the breed. We started to show him more often. In the end of the '80s he became the polish leading whippet, maybe without very spectacular successes but he was always there and always among leaders.
